GAZGIB Had a terrible year leading up to this race with only a 15 mile training run in preparation. Was ecstatic to just keep going all the way round without hitting the wall. First marathon I've done without having to walk.

gomorrah Haven't run anywhere near this distance yet so am guessing somewhat at the time. Would be more than happy under 5 hours but I think somewhere closer to 6 hours might be more realistic. Considering I'd only run over 10 miles 4 times and my furthest was 14 miles. Very happy with the result.

hannkies pb by 3mins 18secs so happy with that. Was prob on course for 2.50 around 19 miles, but knew I was slowing a bit and pretty pleased to finish with my time. Can do better though. Tough course, excellent conditions. Was 591st of 38000 odds.

taulpaul Wow - what an amazing race. Never have i ran a marathon with such a huge smile on my face. The people lining the streets of the five boroughs really make this such a special race. I really didn't care about my time for once.
