It would be great if the running utmosts could also include walks. Particularly could help in populating the longer distances. If I rebranded a marathon walk as a very slow run I could almost be promoted!

I'm sure Fetch could do one for walking (either distance or time based?). Not something I'd take part in as I don't do long walks. Nor the bike one either. But you could always put in a Feature Request Snail. :-) G

I sympathize, Snail, but I think there is an actual difference between running and walking so I'd prefer not to see it mixed (just as run-streaking is actual running.) if there were a walking one it might generate some interest in speed-walking, though!

Some weird movements in Div 6 for me - is that the recent filtering/adjustments Fetch has done?

I went from middle, to just one off the relegation zone to now just one off the promotion zone. But the top 3 are all 99-93 points and I'm 68 so no chance of going up. Just seems a bit weird movement. Maybe I've not been watching properly. :-) G

I'll get an extra 10 points or so when I do my half a week on Sunday (could be as much as 12 if it goes well), but still won't trouble the top 3! I think they might be ringers just passing through? :-) G

Ah, no, that's rubbish, it's your best 5 out of 7, isn't it?

I wonder if we could ask Fetch for oodles of variations of UTMOST - I think there's already been a request for ultra distance version. Could there also be a "race" version (so only races as recorded in Race in Fetch count), to encourage people to race. Totally optional for people to view that, or the "training" (original) version.

And also one that is "7 from 7", so that those who train well from mile to marathon get rewarded? Again, only optional if you see if you are ranked higher in this than in the original "5 from 7" version. It would mean those speedies at 1 mile to 10 mile, but have zilch listed for half marathon and marathon might be matched or beaten by those who are OK at 1 mile, and OK at marathon. If you see what I mean? :-) G

Reading back I see there has been a rejig of the lower divisions. Does make sense.

I’ve gone from Div 22 to Div 21 woohoo!
But from near the top to just outside relegation so actually might take me longer to get to Div 20!

I get very confused by the running one - last week I was firmly in the middle - now I will go down a division on Monday as I'm not going to improve any scores this weekend! Not sure how that happened?

I'm currently bottom (20th) of Div 15, which suggests that the Run league may finally have balanced out, as prior to the "great reset" I was fluctuating between 15 & 16 every week (based on my best times back then).

I did smile at the notification today, though, as I seem to have broken it: the gap was so great, it simply said: "You need point to ...." :-)

Start in the bottom division, and compete over seven different distances against your rivals for weekly promotion!

How It Works
1) The game takes your best times from training and racing over the last 12 months.

2) If you've got the fastest 5k in your division, you get 20 points. If you're second fastest, you get 19 points, etc.

3) Your FIVE best scores are used to calculate your total. So if your scores at each distance are 20,20,20,20,20,10,5 the lowest two are discarded, and your total points would be 100.

4) Promotion and relegation happen every Monday at midday.
