About this parkrun
Small event (c.50 people). Two laps around undulating tarmac paths, with nice views over Glasgow to reward you for your efforts. Very friendly and informal atmosphere. Free squash when we attended!fetcheveryone 7th Jan 2019
Perhaps the only whale shaped course around. A clockwise 3 lap course that passes the 'tail' twice. One of the smaller events in the Glasgow area and has the best views of Glasgow of any parkrun. Look right at the top of the first hill. Easy parking.

The Whale (look at the course description picture). Mainly tarmac course with a downhill section and a few uphill parts too. Smaller event than most, and plenty of space. Good speedster test on the less than flat, but gentle enough for others.

In north Glasgow district of Maryhill on tarmac paths within the park. An undulating two and a bit laps gives a distinct whale shaped outline. Lots of cafes a few minutes walk away in Queen Margaret Drive.

Lovely friendly parkrun - 90 runners when I went. Undulating laps in a nice park.

Not a flat one, but a really lovely location and friendly team.
