I do however need to get over this mental block I have been and done 7 at the gym, but ultimately I need to get used to running outdoors again and get a bit faster. The thing that puts me off the most is the fact that although people who are slow reckon the back is where the party is at, there's the afterparty further back, and it's quite lonely to spend pretty much all of my races completely alone with no support, and wondering if the marshalls have gone home already (and this is at bigger races such as Manchester Half as well). And many of my marathons I am in the last 5 or 10 people to finish and have been last 3 times that I know of. I know someone has to be last but occasionally it can be someone else

An outstanding run AJLB!! Tough day out for me with things going very awry in the last 5k. I can’t yet get upset about it. Maybe that’ll happen later 😂 Still, old fellas qualifier for London / Boston / New York achieved which was the C target. Pleased that I managed myself in to achieve that. Sorry to read
