Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sounds as though you’re doing well auburnette. Things not quite so good here, two weeks unable to run followed by a steroid injection in my knee last week means I’m just starting to try to build up again.

Ah sorry to hear. At least we are only at the very beginning of the standard 16 week marathon build up. Fingers crossed your knee stops misbehaving!

Thanks Doc, I did a half last weekend, albeit slowly. So hope to get up to speed quickly.

Is Blackpool any good?

Lovely and flat. Its a two lapper. Nice and busy for the first lap, then quieter once the half marthoners have left

A Bramley 20 amuse bouche mid-February followed by an Hors d'oeuvres easy paced marathon in early March then the main course will be at Manchester and dessert in London. ( First and last time likely to run so, just want to enjoy the opportunity to run through home streets with my wife and attempt to spot friends in the crowd. Racked up 19 miles over 3 runs last Saturday and aiming for same this weekend if weather is kind.
