Not having found one on Frumble I’ve just googled ‘tooth fabric’. There’s some cute ones. Might need to find an excuse to buy some!

I made this
for my grand daughter. I'd made 2 medical worker ones - one for my doctor sister and one for a friend's nurse daughter but fancied making some different clothes. This one might get a full wardrobe - ill see how I feel!

Ilove that :)
I had a doll very similar to that, made by Gt. Aunty Mary - actually, it's probably still in a box in the loft. She did try to teach me to crochet to make more clothes - but like all subsequent attempts at learning, tying my fingers together was all I managed!

I learnt on a Singer like Sally's link. My mum has evaded all offers of me adopting it, despite not sewing at all for several years - she got rid of Grandma's because it didn't work instead of passing to me to get it mended, and she has the perfectly good electric Singer she bought when I was born.
Rant over, sorry!

I have no idea where ours went - I suspect we threw it away when we bought an electric one. A shame as I'd love to have it, even if didn't work. It came to my maternal grandmother's family over a century ago in part payment of a debt, apparently - they owned a cobblers or shoe shop in Bridport, there's still a shoe shop with the same surname there but I have no idea whether it's the same family. I might ask them!

I saw a video of how to make a buff(or other tube of stretchy fabric) into a mask. You hang about 3ft of tape around your neck, ends in the front. Poke the two ends through your buff. Take the two ends of the tape and tie behind your head above your ears.

Does that make sense?
