Somehow missed this... Damned holidays getting in the way of me lurking on Fetch! ;-)

Sounds fun and so I have doodled. Can only do 21st as 24/10 is too close to Snowdonia and 7th is the same weekend as my annual university drinking reunion so will be in no fit state to run by the Sunday! Looks like the october date will be the winner but if not it would be good to join in :-)

Boing for today. Voting will close tomorrow at noon and I will announce the winning date, then start a group and get everyone to post their predicted times. For those wishing to bimble just post a slow run-time and handicap groups will be sorted out with the minimum of fuss :-)

Date confirmed for Sunday October 24th, thanks to everyone who voted and sorry to those folk that can`t manage on that day. Plan is to start the race as last year near Holyrood Palace with first runners leaving at 1030am (35 minutes earler than last year when we were respectful to the 11am silence on Remembrance Sunday). I`m going to put a group in the header and would ask everyone to post a predicted time ASAP so that I can get the handicaps sorted. Without stating the obvious (ok then I will ;-) ) if you want a racing challenge then post an accurate time, if you prefer a bimble then post a slow time. Any offers of help appreciated, Fmail or Facebook-message me. Cheers! :-)
