not 'officially'...but 'unofficially yes'. Official time was 21:02, watch time on runner behind me when I asked was 20:40 and I smashed him by around 3 seconds. Also ran slightly long as I started from middle of the pack (roughly .05 metres behind startline).
Gunning for a real attempt on my 5K PB on 21st April...

I actually meant around 50 metres behind. I guess that lack of sleep is getting my poor ickle brain confused.

I *really* an tired and in need of sleep....I even corrected myself incorrectly. I think an early night is in order....yesterday's 4AM start followed with this morning's 5AM start is causing me some serious *thinking* issues.. :O\
I need sleep.... ZZZzzz...

Best technique = even pace with maybe a slightly fast start before settling into pace. It is long distance, not a sprint.

Used the start fast and hang on tecnique at the MK park run on saturday. Problem was i was held up a bit for the first 500m so could not start as fast as i was hoping. Ended up with a fairly evenly paced 5k and a seasons best of sub 21:
