I had a moment if uncertainty with the lovely dark haired lady next to Linds - I didn't know whether to hug her or not and how many if not life secrets she already knew ... As for the lovely person who called me back for an orange, I just took the orange, how rude ;-)

Does anyone know anything about volunteering for the marathon e.g. marshalling, drink stations, start / finish etc? Would love to get involved on the other side of the barrier, but seen a few sites say volunteers are taken from London running clubs, any ideas?

I know that Bedford Harriers get involved with marshalling - so it's not just London clubs. Have you tried contacting LM directly to ask?

Haven't contacted yet, will do though, will probably be my best bet as I'm not linked to any running clubs so wouldn't get an opportunity that way
