Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

SCOTTISH TRAIL RUNNING CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Brutal course in beautiful part of the country. Falkland is a stunning little Fife village, I must take the family there. Stunning day for a race in the trails around the lomond hills. Started off steady as I knew it was a long way, there were around 4 or 5 really brutal climbs, the last one I walked 20 metres or so. The guys I was with were running, but made no headway on me, that's how steep it was. Anyway, had a good battle with G and A from the club, and really pleased with my third race in succession where I felt really strong at the end. Crossed the line in 13 place overall and first Master. So I am the Scottish Masters Trail Running Champion. Yah :)
Edinburgh also picked up the silver behind Cambuslang and we had 4 vets in our team, Cambusland had a set of ringers as usual ;). Our women won the team prize as well as a host of other inidividual medals, so a really good day for Edinburgh AC.

Set of ringers ha ha! That club has guys in every town, city just incase a race sets upon where they bide mate! Think that's Josh's second race for RHC and Wenege won the National XC. Saw some pics from Alan Ramage and the climbs did indeed look tough! Well done on being the very first Masters Trail Champion! Question tho! Gilroy is a Masters so was it 40 and over rather than 35? Anyhow SA mistake so take it and continue to build on the silverware or in this case the gold ware :) :) :)

Masters were 40 and over for this race K. I assume there are different set of rules for trail running. Proper master age category in my opinion!!

Agree on that mate!
