Quick note, more to follow. 7:50 last year, 7:09 this year & would have been better if I hadn't taken a wrong turn that ended up meaning climbing over a barbed wire fence and added a half mile (though this year's route is still shorter by a half mile). Weather definitely helped but I'm half a dozen places higher up the list and provisionally 2nd MV55 (of 4, and a long way ahead of 3). Good. Day. Out.
