Notes & Comments

I had to abandon my planned route at 17 miles, because the road was being dug up. That meant I had a few minutes on the roadside trying to work out what to do, and then another couple of mins in Bozeat trying to figure out my route. I ended up rejoining my original route and (mostly) following it home. Quads are pretty mashed now :-) Pleased to get a slightly quicker 50k time despite the little stops, and I nurdled round home roads to get a 40 mile benchmark too.
