Kevski If you bet on me, your quids inb! (well, Fetchpoints anyway!). Negative split, overtook all the way and never got over taken and not far off of 6 min miling towards the end! Put the effort in and beat target of 64 minutes. 3 weeks of racing and all goals achieved! Magical feeling! Really well organised race too. :)

Martian Dashes Started this race a little faster than I should and quickly ran into trouble (ha ha). It turned into a good training run though.
I thought I was actually picking the pace up after losing focus in the middle. However seeing that Lokomotiv Kevski took 50 seconds out of me in the 2 miles after he steamed past perhaps I was just not going backwards as fast.
Fine job by DRR on this race.

Alun Did this last year after waking up on race day and thinking what the hell. Will be doing the same this year as well.

Yippee, sliced 3 or more minutes off my PB and this year's course was tougher (more hills).

Rick OShay Tough old course (pretty much the same as the Dartford half). Lots of inclines. I pushed it too hard on the first couple of hills and struggled somewhat towards the end.

Figured that next time I race at the weekend, I will look to taper more effectively as I felt pretty tired having had only one day rest after a lot of miles last week.

Sting Ray Gutted, i pulled my calf muscle at the start of the race, had 9.98 miles to go!
Definately do this course again! Hills are short enough to power up.

MAXIMUS My first 10 mile road race. I thought it was well organised and marshalled. Probably could have gone a bit faster. But i was worried about conking out at 6 or 7 miles. Thanks to Kev for the mid race chat.

SherryB Wasn't sure what to expect as I've never done 10 miles before and had been unwell the previous week. Great running weather, bright but breezy. Knew to expect steep hill at mile 3 and long drag on last mile. The last couple of miles were really tough for me - physically and mentally, but I kept going, though I really slowed down. Pretty pleased with the time.
