Well done Col indeed! I'm still waiting for my legs to feel less like lead before I attempt my next distance!

Well done Col - Way to go!

I wanted to do my 3rd race (1500m) this week but have felt pants. On the edge of a cold or something. Runs have been done but I feel slow and sluggish. Hopefully, I will feel better next week.

Hopefully not on the edge of Covid Seratonin. I wonder if anyone will leave their last race of Race The Machine until the last day of the year.

Just a little update for those of you already taking part, and for anyone interested in Race The Machine. We have just had another complete all 6 distances undefeated - (John Todd from Derby). John had a lot of positive comments to make about the motivation having achievable target times gave him, and has now gone onto enter a marathon!

Race The Machine is now approaching 100 entrants in 2022 (94 as of today) and to celebrate that milestone the 100th human to enter will receive a free quality technical t-shirt. racethemachine.co.uk

I keep forgetting about this (sorry). Now that I have my marathons out of the way (for now) I can get back on this!

About This Thread

Maintained by Seratonin
Been stalked by an advert here on Fetch tonight.
I haven't actually done a proper race for a good 5 years.

I clicked on the link and having given it a quick read, I am kinda interested. The blurb suggests that it is relative to your Riegel score, so it sounds like it is a reasonable target (i.e. acheiveable but a fair challenge)

So a couple of questions:

1) Did anyone do this challenge last year?
2) If so, how were the times you received from the machine? Easy, reasonable, challe...
