Funnily enough, when I got back to my B&B, the landlady said she thought someone had been taken ill as she'd seen the ambulance, but I didn't know who it was. It was very warm in places - I caught the sun despite lathering on the sun cream. Well done everyone on a tough but enjoyable race - I was really looking forward to this, and I wasn't disappointed. I think that was partly due to not caring about how long it took me, and just having a nice long Sunday run

I returned after a 9-year absence and it took be 14 minutes longer Still, apart from sunburn on my scalp & face, I'm none the worse. Enjoyed meeting Fetchies in the beer garden at the 'Red Lion'. Next year? Even with a 300-mile round trip on the day, it's v. tempting. Well run, all.
