Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yoga is hard on the wrists when you start but they do get stronger

I committed to my osteopath that I'd do this so I will! Despite my really, really hating yoga every time I've tried it.

Warming up the wrists with a little bit of a stretch can be helpful too.

Day 1 done. I found it hard on my wrists, arms and shoulders (but then I always do). I took some breaks when I needed and tried to just accept the sensations as much as I could.

Feel good now afterwards.

Very good to get back to the mat again. My wrists will need some work (and I know Adriene has some good practices for them) but my warriors were satisfyingly strong. Mind all over the place, not so good with the meditative aspects today, but that’s life right now. Other days will be better and the yoga will only help.

So glad there's a thread, thank you Bint! Almost missed day one, it was only 'Raptor (I think) mentioning it in her blog that reminded me. If it's called 'Center' the consensus is that it will focus mainly on the core, which is good for me as I'm trying to strengthen my abs.

Do I need to subscribe to something from Adrienne? Having never got through a whole workout I’m not sure about it!
