I've managed to get full file from garmin of all my runs and have tried twice to upload the zip file. Has anyone else done this? and how long did it take? also can you get email notifications from this website when things happen? Or do you have to keep logging on? So if some replies to this question only way i can see is if I am online?? thanks in advance.

You get a notification by email if you have a message in Email. Otherwise you need to remember to log on to see your notifications. Regarding the upload, this does take a while and there will be a few people doing the same thing so that will delay it further. |

You can get email notifications of some things but not thread replies. You can add a thread to your watch list so you get new posts in watched threads flagged over on the right there. fetcheveryone.com/forum/old-garmin-activities-61461/ That thread there was started with a question about adding old garmin files to the site. I'd bet that if you as on there Fetch will be along soon (probably Monday. He has a life outside of the site too apparently.;-)) and help out, or maybe someone who's already managed it will be able to help. |

I have to confess to a miscommunication. they are notactually digging in the arboretum - what a lovely spot that is, thoroughly enjoyed our soggy walk this afternoon. They are doing a pre-development dig on a field just up the road - opposite Stoughton Grange. There are some Iron Age roundhouses at the back of the field, I is digging at the front on the left and is excavating an Iron Age pit - most exciting find being a loom weight thus far

Sounds very interesting HB. Also sounds within run range for TBR to go and have a nosey. Is it a private field or is there a right of way through it/alongside it?

Aha, I think I've run past that field and saw there was some sort of work going on.

HB - I think that field might possibly be one that's earmarked for a new housing. Is that perhaps why they're digging, before the building work gets going?
