Sigh
I imagine that Garmin's reply would be that as a user you can download each activity whenever you like.

Did you want an account to test/play with Fetch? I can let you have access to mine, as long as you promise to only use read access, or add longer faster runs in new conquersize zones.

For the record, this isn't for me. I'm just trying to help out a new user who wanted to import all their older data

Wow that's a lot of data. The activity files are in DI_CONNECT/DI-Connect-Fitness-Uploaded-Files and are zipped (again), but I reckon that's everything I ever uploaded

Question for all Garmin users. I bout the new fenix 6S in February it’s goosed - intermittently stops counting steps, won’t connect to GPS and completely freezes the screen, loses Wi-fi connection and freezes. Switch off and back on it loses any steps it had counted. Garmin have offered to replace it but sounds like a ‘refurbed’ replacement. I also bought an extended warranty from John Lewis when I bought it if I go with Garmin will this be void? I contacted Garmin initially thinking it may be an easy fix but I’m wondering should it go back via JL warranty? Any help/advice/thoughts greatly received. |

um
I've found JL warranty quite good (and also Garmin), I'd suggest using JL first and see what they'll do. And what do you want - fixed / replaced new (since it's <8 weeks old) / money back? If you get a replacement via Garmin, will that invalidate the JL warranty because it's no longer the watch you purchased ? I think (well, it was a few years ago) std Garmin process to replace with refurb, whther warranty or paid flat fee repair. Made for a quick, no quibble turnaround. |
