Very clear night here in North Yorkshire, and aurora quite faintly visible to the naked eye, very clear on camera.

Oh wow really? I’ve had an amber alert but from experience it’s not worth going out unless it’s red.

And even then, it’s either cloudy or not actually night or I’m too far south or ima asleep! Gutted to have missed them in May as I was by the coast in Northumbria with friends (which was why we missed them as we were chatting!)

We had nothing in St Ives (Cambs) but my auntie saw it at Appleby with camera not naked eye.
