For a race which is on lots of open roads in perhaps one of the less naturally attractive parts of the world at a time of year when weather doesn't always play nicely, they do a cracking job for local runners and get great support.

Seem to recall she took great joy in telling people she was at the top of the hill, before you reached her and it went round a bend up another hill 😁

I nodded and says that was nice, imagining she'd run up towards Buxton etc. Nope, turns out it was the Stockport 10. That's how I'll describe it from now on!

Walked home a bit later...so working from home. Will go for a run at lunchtime.
