Done http://www.fetcheveryone.com/blog-view.php?id=3&m=10&y=2016#blog359003 I enjoyed that. I started just by writing a little paragraph, and then slowly chopping and changing little bits of it, working out what felt right, and what felt out of place. Whole sentences got cut, or moved, or turned upside down. A heron, a fisherman and a relay failed to make the cut. A spare word was greeted with a grin, and the theme of the story and the picture slowly came together. I will go and pat the dog now, and make sure this paragraph is also exactly 100 words long. Cornflakes. Cornflakes. Cornflakes. Cornflakes. Cornflakes. Cornflakes. Cornflakes. |

I did a lot of chopping and changing on mine too. I really enjoyed the discipline of having to make it 100 words. I was travelling quite a bit so spent most of my train journeys fiddling with it. Good fun, thank you Scribbles

I have no intention of writing 100 words on Beachy, that one's going to be an essay

I'd never written a Haiku before but it seemed a good way to try to get all the random thoughts that ran through my head down. It was quite a challenge to get the structure right while not making it sound (too) contrived.

Maybe if the hills weren't so fucking hilly then word count would be less?
