Bungay Half Marathon (12.30pm start). Pretty warm day (17c) and also an undulating course, especially in the first half. Nevertheless, pleased to hit a PB today. Went off a lot more conservatively than a few weeks ago and felt good for the first 9 miles. Cramp kicked in my left calf from about 10.5 - 11.5 (first time this has happened, probably due to warm conditions and only taking on board water), but managed to run it off and keep a steady pace until the end, by concentrating on the next runner and gradually picking them off. K managed to hook up with me a few times on the bike - so I had a personal water station for a time! Course measured 13.21 on the Garmin (fellow runners agreed it was a tad long). All in all another confidence booster.

Well done on the PB Chris, I did that one last year so I know the first half is pretty challenging. It's nice to have all the Marathon runners as targets to catch and pass:-)

Great stuff! Sounds like you held it together well in difficult conditions. You should be very delighted!
