Binks Note to anyone who happens to notice my intimidating pb at this distance. That is indeed my pb for 40 miles, however for 60% of that race I had a bike.

flanker last year managed to average 13 mm over 46 miles, with the shorter course this year and greater experience, I'd like to go sub-8. Seeing as at the Kent 50 in the summer I went through 40 miles in 7:08, I hope this should be doable even if I'm not as fit now as then. With a bad ankle and not having pulled on a pair of running shoes for 3 weeks, an hour behind plan will do :-)
