Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Boingy The only 15K I have done before was over Helvellyn, so if I don't beat that time I'll give up running. **** The good news is I don't have to give up running :-). Nice race, but diversion half way meant the course was a bit long. 44th finisher of 160, 4th club place. Happy-ish with pace on undulating course.

Go-KL Labelled as a 15km race - my first. Made a steady start mindful that the last three miles were all uphill. Felt comfortable, but lonely, as after 9km, did not pass or was not passed by anyone. Course was a good one, bit busy in places, and somewhat spoilt by a bizarre diversion from a well intentioned policeman, which added 400m to the course, a steep hill and a bit of hairy road crossing trying to get back on track. Found the last 3 km or so quite hard going as it was all uphill. Was pleased to finish 13th as I didn't really race flat out - somewhere between marathon and half marathon effort.

KinkyS Great run, really enjoyed the undulating route and felt strong throughout at a controlled but hard tempo pace. Probably would've been 1:06 had it not been for a bizarre diversion thanks to the local police that added about 400m extra onto the distance.

thomas h sat in 19th most of the race unable to make progress ,then at 10k two runners came past (a club team mate + another ) so had to work a lot harder up that hill . ended up in 18 th holding off the fellow team member.
