CR1970 I am so chuffed. I was aiming to beat my prevous best this year, and I did by over 2 mins. Not only that but I beat my last years time at this event too. Very happy :o)

Jock Itch Finished 5th. Again a new PB by exactly the same as my last 3 PB's..exactly 1 min 10 each time ! Freaky. Went through 5K in 17:50. Last few Km pretty hilly but not as bad as expected.

Mr Chops New PB by 11 secs!! Faded a bit on those inclines after 7k, losing about 6 positions, but I had enough time in hand from my fast start (just under 21 mins at 5k) to bring it on home for the PB and first sub 43 min 10k - woo hoo!

Sid Should have pushed myself harder at the start of the race - saved my energy for the hill at 7k which in the end wasn't that bad. I'm sure it won't be long until I break the 50 minute marker for a 10k. No pains in my legs today which was fantastic.

Yellow Fang I hoped I sneaked under 39 minutes. I will have to look at the results when they come out. The weather was perfect. At 5K I was pleased to see I was at 19:28 and feeling like I could keep up the pace. The seconds half of the course was not ideal. It went down hill for about 2K, but then climbed for 2K. I was surprised to turn the corner into the field to see a sub-39 was on. I sprinted, but I'm not quite sure I got it.
