santababy well i just and only just managed a PB by a few seconds, i guess the legs were still not happy after Loch Ness 2 weeks ago , had fabulous race tho, met Keefy Beefy at start and Hanneke at around 38K , think i went off too slow at start, i shoulsve worked out the K's against the miles so i wouldve known i was going bit slower, managed to work it out by about half way lol
anyway, all in all happy with that , not sure if 2 maras in 2 weeks is too great an idea but i loved every minute of it :o)

Foxy My first sub 3 hour 30 marathon - I crossed the line to john cougar Mellencamp - hurts so good - how very apt - i set a good pace throughout the whole race & just got there, which was really pleasing following the disappointment of nottingham the month previously.

starting & finishing in the 1928 Olympic stadium made me feel like a real athlete, a very flat marathon went out to a rowing lake with windmills down either side.

Amsterdam was a late replacement for the postponed Budapest marathon i planned to do,(political unrest) my late entry in person the Friday prior to the race meant i didn't get a T-shirt but after seeing them it was no real loss !! A pretty good medal with the Olympic flame on it.

I was finally a sub 3 hr 30 man & that will be the last major barrier i break - I know my limitations.

I raised over £650 for Cancer reasearch
