About this parkrun
2 laps, proper off-road like an XC course incl 1 big hill. Narrow trails leads to quite a bit of congestion. Obvs not a quick course but something nicely different from your avg parkrun. Recommend.Windsor Wool 22nd Dec 2018
Out to the woods on grass round a cricket pitch, 3 laps round the woods, undulating and very technical trails with lots of roots and a fast descent back to the cricket field. Easy parking at the pavilion. can be very muddy just away from the field.
Ground HogFather 9th Jan 2019
Challenging course that starts with a couple of hundred metres of flat grass before you enter the woods and do three laps of undulating trail that includes a small hill and is narrow in places. The finish is a flat sprint across the cricket pitch.

I can’t add much to the other reviews except to say that there are toilets and car parking on site. If dry, road shoes would be ok, but I was happier with trails.

Technical course with a small hill you go up three times. Times vary a lot between summer and winter due to mud. Trail shoes are a must other than in the driest weather.

3 rolling laps with tree roots everywhere

Went when it was dry - lots of roots. One short sharp hill. Quite narrow in places. Three laps - enjoyable but not great for passing. Good parking options with 2 car parks available. Toilets were so so.
