Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Grid Official time. Really enjoyed defecting from Hyde Park in Leeds for one week to support this event. Good course, with enough of an incline profile to make it a challenge. Just missed out on my 30 minute target, thanks to some really tired legs.

About this parkrun

Huge attendance numbers here but still feels friendly. All tarmac (so road shoes) lots of easy parking. Very 'undulating' definitely worth a visit!
twinny 28th Dec 2018

All on paths, inner loop outer loop with gentle hill. Can be congested in 1km as massive field. Seem to have pacers as a norm and pace start guides which not everyone follows.

Despite large field still a friendly community feel. Loads of parking.
mr d 24th Apr 2019

All on fairly wide paths with a small loop followed by a large figure of 8 lap. One long steady climb at around half way. Friendly people, attractive course but large attendance so can be congested for the first 400m
TnoP 17th Aug 2019

A small loop followed by a large loop of a very large park. A hill that is not as bad as expected thrown in for good measure. Well marshalled, finish was well organised. Packed at the start, took half a mile to get enough room to get into my stride
gcwenn 29th Jan 2022

Very busy parkrun but on mostly wide paths so not too congested. Small loop then large loop, undulating but not too hilly, lots of parking, lovely park, good facilities and friendly group of volunteers.
Mandyr 20th Sep 2022

All on good paths, some hills including Angina Hill! Bibs for lots of special occasions
BlueArmy 14th Jan 2023

Very popular (aka busy) but very well organised/marshalled. Big hill...
Sewd 13th Oct 2023

Huge crowd here! Great atmosphere but very congested for the first mile. A really pretty park route with a bit of a hill in the first half.
