Enigma I've not raced a mile before and what a mile to start on! It's a hilly loop round Pittencrieff Park in Dunfermline. It's probably a stupidly ambitious prediction, but what the heck. **UPDATE** Wow, what happened? I'm amazed at my time, far better than I'd hoped for. I really thought that my legs were shot after the Brig Bash and a faster than planned club run last night. However they held up for 1 mile and that was enough. May 1 mile race down the Glen...not ran this for yonks!!PB here is 5.38,when I was track racing with Pitreavie club,not sure what I shall be capable of on the night,but would like to be sub 6mins,rather hilly few climbs,Intend to run very hard,time to push the pain barrier: )*update*...chuffed with run tonight and was only 6 seconds over PB and on a very hard course. felt strong and steady during run. ; )
