run-bean Took it easy round the course today. Rest at water station - approaching mile 5. Fast walk up the steep hills. could have done so much better on time if I had not done a marathon 2 weeks ago but was told to take it easy, so I did! Would definitely like to do this race again as the scenery is just gorgeous! Massive Preston Harriers turnout, then went to the pub for a drink afterwards. Took Sarah and Leah who I think enjoyed themselves. It was a grand day out!

Stuart28 Conditions were beautiful, but I lacked energy and really struggled on the hill ! (I'm not sure why) It's still a great race and I will be back next year.

Velociraptor Perfect running weather, breathtaking views, an amazingly well-chosen course profile and a typically strong Cumbrian field. I've never enjoyed running a PW quite so much!
