-caz- 1st race since Inverness 10k in Oct 08. Still nursing calf rehab, furthest run since recovering so well chuffed. Steady and loads left in tank, legs a little weary but fealt great at the end, could have continued. Too bloody warm though.

Debstir Probably going to be pacing a work colleague round their first ever race so not bothering about time. UPDATE: ran round with my friend, she did really well for her first race. Put down watch time as we started right at the back. Really warm and clammy this evening, maybe next year I'll marshall instead.... ;-)

Dvorak Gruelling. The wrong kind of heat. I don't think my shirt has ever been so soaked at the end of a race, including those run in downpours. Nice course, fast on another day. AWHR 84%, peak 97%. Great cake and savouries spread for Perth RR.

HappyTimes Made the mistake of setting of too quick first mile and combined with the very humid conditions paid the price as never really got rhythm after 1st mile. Although just outside my target time all considered fairly happy with result. The feeling of need to be sick near end (due to pushing it in heat i think) was quickly forgotten once I got to the amazing spread of cakes!!
Cracking race for pb on another night, great atmosphere and best food spread I have ever seen. Definately in the calander for next year.

Son of a Pronator Man Not back in racing shape yet but will give this one a go for the banter* Update* would have settled for sub 35 but a little mini-race with another runner over the last 400m pushed me a bit harder to get under that barrier. Stopped for a few moments with a stitch, havern't had one of those in years :(. It was very hot and humid, and afterwards I just dripped with sweat. Great cakage and chat afterwards as runners took over the street outside

Ticketyboo Great wee race over a fast flat course with a fantastic spread afterwards. Unfortunately I started too fast and paid for it in the end in very hot and humid conditions.
