bedlam_g Thought this was a 2 lap 2 mile race. Tactic was run the first lap really hard then just hang on to the finish. Unfortunately as I passed the start finish line for the 2nd time totally burst I discovered it was actually a 4 lap 4.7 mile race and I'd have to dig deep and start a soul destroying 3rd lap of 4. Reckon I did ok in the circumstances and need to invest more in pre-race intelligence gathering

hannkies First Road Race for a wee while, not my best time for the course but I'm happy enough with my run as I can definately feel a bit fitter again. Tough wee 4 lap race, some very good runners in the field with some very good runs by everyone. Reasonably satisfied with a 13th place finish.
