It drives me to distraction when people are having conversations on their phone. I also get ridicuously wound up when I can hear noise from peoples headphones.

Other people's kids running around where kids shouldn't be running around is another matter. The rational part of my brain is in a constant war with the part that wants to hiss, "Whose is THAT? Suppress it before I kill it!"

It was great last year when we had a couple of kids - the ones I referred to as The Shining Girls on my blog - playing outside. Mind you, the young Spanish group next door are kids to a crumbly like me. I love the way they chatter away noisily in the garden all evening, then stop dead before midnight.
