May try for the virtual run - if nothing else it will give me something to aim for (without the race pressure). I did about 22 miles on the original race day, but haven’t been close since.

Don't get the logic of running the elites in London where they have much more trouble keeping spectators away, but I suppose they've worked that out ok. And postponing to next Oct saves from the inevitable winter of will-they-won't-they stress. I wonder what classifies as elite? It's usually the British championship isn't it, and every so often a less prominent club runner does rather well...

Yes, results from the virtual Virgin Money London Marathon will be eligible for you to apply for a Good for Age or Championships entry in 2021. Runners will also be asked to provide supplementary evidence. Full details of the application process and qualification period for Good for Age places in 2021 will be published on the website by 31 August 2020.
