Taking inspiration from the 1mile thread I have started (I hope!) a 5k virtual challenge.
This is to help me get used to pushing myself more - please join in!!

Although Pix, I've had a thought: so many people do parkrun another 5k might not appeal. The mile thing does as there are so few actual 1 mile races these days. How about changing it to 3k? It 'is' a race distance after all.

There are no parkruns in Spain and I really miss them now I've moved so this would be fab, thanks for setting it up Pix.

I have done 10 park runs in 12 years as I never get organised enough for parkrun

In 25 years I have done 3 parkruns :)

I think I will be able to run if I find a good route.

LOL WP!!

I run 5k or thereabouts lots of times just not parkrun so this gives me the chance to focus a bit more and run them harder rather than just run 5k
