Ah. The ECG from my AW was treated as 'valid' by both my GP and Cardiologist. They followed up with formal tests for confirmation but they are happy to take Apple data as a good first pass.

Sorry, bit of an x-post - apparently I'm very fit and healthy, and don't need any medical intervention. Need to eat right and, I kid you not, keep up with the exercise. Dr Gamma specifically said "you might want to run more". He's quite the guy.

It seems AW is the way to go (but seemingly doesn’t import well into Fetch or have I misunderstood?). Looks like AWseries 8?

It's a faff, nothing worse. And it's not great for tennis or, bizarrely, SUP. I have an Ultra. 90% of the time I wish I had a Series 8. Then I go, say, snorkelling and am pleased I have the bigger unit. |

 It doesn't do GPS for tennis either. Marginal call but I find the heat maps entertaining. AW is really quite good for swimming - it detects the difference between front crawl and breaststroke, which is cute. It doesn't tell Fetch though. Secret. |

Our poll used to use Swimtag which counted your lengths and told you what stroke you were doing, but they stopped using it after the great covid lockdown saga
