Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

New Wet Leg song popped into a random Spotify playlist today - I liked it, and whilst not quite so juvenile as their first album (which I enjoyed), I'm not sure they'll win over new fans.

I'm currently loving the new Frog album (1000 Variations on the Same Song). I've never heard of Frog before, but it's amazing laid-back indie, with influences from all the place but gels together excellently.

I'll give that a go Dave.

For me Greentea Peng is by far the best album of the year for me. Followed by Anna B.Savage. Looking forward to Kae Tempest and now Pulp too.

Seems to be the time for bands I like to drop a new single.

We Are Scientists new single launched on YouTube last night, not yet on Spotify. I had a listen, and whilst I can still remember the daft video, the song was on the forgettable end of their spectrum.

Got something to say?

EDIT - new and improved (i.e. exactly the same) for 2024
