Day 1 25th : Your festive meal
I may or may not have had a bit of each thing. π
The overflow area because it couldn't fit on the big dining room table.
Day 2 26th : Santa Claus
The two Christmas seasonings shakers. Salt and pepper shakers if you were lost in thought.
Day 3 27th : A Christmas window
Can see some of the window through the Christmas stuff. π
Day 4 28th : Holly & Ivy
On the crackers!
Day 5 29th : An outdoor Christmas tree
It's a little... Christmassy.
Day 6 30th : Six geese a laying
Hopefully the size of them makes up the the lack in number. And they're not really laying. They are as tall as toddlers.
Day 7 31st : 'that's crackers!'
See Day 4.
Day 8 1st : A New Yearβs Day activity
Day 9 2nd : Back to normal
"We've chewed through most of our Christmas toys! Break time!"
Day 10 3rd : The most dishevelled decoration
Day 11 4th : FIRE
When your brain is trying to work something out...
Day 12 5th : Ice?
A flavourful kind.

Started running March 2013 to try to build my fitness for field hockey. My initial goal was to be able to run around the 'big block' which was one mile along each side. Eventually was able to do that, though slowly. What to do next? Try faster or longer? Faster seemed out of reach, so ran longer. In May 2013 ran farther than ever before: 10km. Apart from 12km later that month I didn't run that far again until Dec 2013. Eventually thought about trying to run as far as a half marathon. Took a while to do that, pondered what next and was drawn to trying to do a marathon. Ran my first marathon in Nov 2016, and have gone on to run three more marathons and three ultras (56km, 56km, 50km).Profile | Blog | Other Blogs
