First day of Christmas:
I have to uphold the slogan on my t-shirt that says “warning, tells Dad jokes at random” and I was getting a bit thin on material (and couldn’t remember much).
Day 2:
View on cycle/walk on Boxing Day.
Day 3:
Angel
Day 4:
Nativity scene. Not much for nativity, so here is a native.
Day 5:
It’s a lonely ring.
Day 6: Christmas wreath
I didn’t get a photo of the one we actually had, so this is taken from the internet of a similar one. Vegan sausage roll wreath.
Day 7: related to winter wonderland
What could be more of a wonderland than this? It’s never winter there though.
Day 8: resolutions
Day 9: an outdoor, alternative Christmas tree
Look at all the natural tinsel!
Day 10: a reindeer or deer, or any animal linked to Christmas
What’s more Christmas than Santa on in inflatable flamingo in a pool, alongside a reindeer?
Day 11: chocolate
There were a dozen of these…
Day 12: dozen of anything
See what I did there?

Started running March 2013 to try to build my fitness for field hockey. My initial goal was to be able to run around the 'big block' which was one mile along each side. Eventually was able to do that, though slowly. What to do next? Try faster or longer? Faster seemed out of reach, so ran longer. In May 2013 ran farther than ever before: 10km. Apart from 12km later that month I didn't run that far again until Dec 2013. Eventually thought about trying to run as far as a half marathon. Took a while to do that, pondered what next and was drawn to trying to do a marathon. Ran my first marathon in Nov 2016, and have gone on to run three more marathons and three ultras (56km, 56km, 50km).Profile | Blog | Other Blogs
