Fetch virtual mile April
5 days after the marathon, I decided to give this a go. I first did 4x 100 m strides as warm up, then had a go at the mile. I would have been happy with sub 7 but 6:34 as my new Fetch benchmark and a new PB is amazing.

Nice mile
Nice. Excellent way to come back. I'm thinking of getting out to a trial run today too.
Well done on the PB
Thank you. It was a nice surprise after yesterday's recovery run which was still a bit laborious. It's amazing what 24 hours and a good night's sleep can do (8:45 hours). I'm feeling more confident about the 5000 m track race on Sunday.
Have a great race on Sunday and well done for the new mile PB.
Enjoy Sunday always nice to do something different
