About Me
It all began in 1975 when I asked my father if I could go for a run with him. Being only 5 all I used to do in those days was to run around the park. Aged 11 in the 1980's I started running around an oval track in Sao Paulo. Ran my first marathon aged 16.
Running took backstage for a few years, while I negotiated University and starting a career. I did run occasionally, but stopped completely in my early thirties, mainly because of my mother's ill health. Started running again in my 40's. I just wish I could spend more time running - work and stuff just gets in the way! Now in my 50's I am starting out again.
I think my moto should be never give up - you have to keep fighting against all the odds. I can do this.
