Started running early 2006 and ran my first half-marathon on Route 66 in Tulsa in November. Ran two marathons: OKC 2007 and Dallas White Rock 2008 after several false starts and a bout of pneumonia. Training for OKC 2009 in April and hoping to knock even more off my PR.
So far doing a good job of transforming myself from the girl who was always picked last for teams in PE to the girl who could probably kick many of her ex-classmates butts. That'll learn them.
