When I was 13 I came last, like actual LAST, in the Swansea Bay 3k. They even announced my name over the PA system and asked everyone to give me a 'special' round of applause. So then I started running and not really stopped since. I make no bones of the fact that if I was a natural Slim Jim I'd probably not go near a gym, but hey ho, these are the cards I've been dealt so I'm working with em! I've done one half marathon, got another one coming up in October. Also entered the London Marathon this year with my mum (veteran of many many marathons) and hoping after 2 rejections its third time lucky. Hellooo to my cousin Fat Dave who showed me this site.
