Bit of a disjointed start as people moved forward and I couldn’t tell if we’d started or not. Felt ok and was moving forward but thought I was faster than 9.43! Sped up and didn’t look at watch, was mainly passing people. Did feel like I was tiring so I’m pleased to see faster last mile and bit of sprint finish.

Hamstring much better again today but can feel it afterwards and think it would have been uncomfortable to run home, so walked instead.

Hamstring felt good today, just a tiny bit on tightness. Other than run 4m I had no idea what to expect but felt quite good so tried to push a bit more with each mile. It was hard work but I’m pleased with how it was and feels like I’m progressing.

Heart rate on watch has been playing up in the gym and seems to be lower than actual although runs have always been good until today. I definitely don’t have anything below 160 when I’m running fairly hard!
