54 years old. Hated running at school. Completed first half marathon year after leaving school and second 3 or 4 years later then didn't run again until 2011 a few minths after i started my current job.
4 half marathons 10 or more 10k 104 parkruns 1 ultra marathon (mostly walking thkugh)
And rejected by london marathon ballot on multiple occasions...hopefully will reak that rejection cycle for 2024..

What’s the best bit of advice that you would give to new runners, bikers and swimmers?
Learn to enjoy it...
I'm still learning that despite poor weather it can be fun....though it helps to have a working shower! |
