Garmin autostart on turfing walk around Tod. Foot (arch) pain settling nicely, though getting painful twinges in the big toe joint.

Everything is just fecking ridiculous. Huge flare up in back rib muscles, spasming on almost any movement. Toe joint really painful. Had to spend the rest of the day on the sofa trying not to move. Was thinking at this point that it would be almost impossible to be okay again in the space of a week.

Bah, think this video was too hard. It had side planks in it. It strained my neck awkwardly, which I think caused an injury to the muscle in my back/ribs - thorassic, lower trapezius maybe?

Foot settling, so popped my road shoes on and went for a 5 minute jog up to the turf just to see if the painful twinges occurred in the joint. They didn't! Yay! Try another one tomorrow.

Reverted back to the easy yoga sessions at the start of the 30 day challenge. Just trying to keep my neck and back moving. Seems to be okay and everything is improving.

Road shoes canal run between work and Spanish class for half an hour. 5k on the canal. All okay amazingly. My foot seemed fine too and didn't flare up afterwards. Just the odd tiny twinge. Felt quite unfit though, and suspect the taper has been a bit too severe and I've lost some fitness. Never mind though, at least everything is okay and it's surprising how you tend to feel okay on the day.

Big, for these days, walk up Rossett Pike. Chose this as the cloud was very low indeed and we thought the long walk along the valley was our best chance to see stuff. Didn't particularly struggle with the climb, but we were taking it very easy. Struggled along the boulder field on the top!, though enjoyed the navigating in the clag. And struggled, as always, with the steep descent!
