Enjoyed running for Havant AC(Portsmouth area) in early 80's. Finest hour 1.12 23 in Portsmouth Half in 84. Won stable staff x-country titles in 84/85 and ran first London marathon in 1991- 2.59.57. Stopped running(god knows why)until I joined Newmarket Jogger's in Nov 2008. Really enjoying my running now with some great people, so friendly.
I've had a sabbatical from competitive running for a year or 3. I've also been along a rewarding coaching path( now a qualified Event Group Endurance Coach). Not actively coached fir a while, but wish to in the near future.
