About Me
Hi, like many others I was put off running by school P.E. runs and cross country sessions. So for years I never thought of it as a thing I might enjoy and instead tried lots of other sports. Then I was made redundant and my best friend passed away from cancer - I realised I was overweight and unfit so I started couch to 5k by jogging around my small garden. Now, i enjoy running 2 or 3 times a week, I've run one half marathon and would like to do more but I also want to run more trails, so that's a target for 2024/2025.

Describe your ideal run, ride or swim.
Today, it's around 10k preferably in a park, by a river or in a similar environment and on a warm but not too hot day. Most of my runs are on the road because of where I live, so it's great to do something different.
