Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Notes & Comments

Dunbar 10km.

1st in 34:05 however most Garmins had it at 10.1km. Avg pace was 3:23 per km which saw me pass the 10k point at 33:49, so got to be happy.

1st team as well.

Tough little course, windy and hilly.

Pace started fast at 3:19 for the first km and thought I had overcooked it again, but settled in for the 2-7 km. Then the pace started to creep up. Caught the 2 leaders at around 4km and stayed with them until 8km, when we dropped one lad. Pulled alongside leader and could hear his breathing under pressure. Felt good so put the foot down. Last 2kms in 3:12 each. :) Last 3km in 9:43.

I thought things felt better this week in general and I think there is a little step change in training.
