Notes & Comments

Beveridge Park 5k. The wind died down just in time for the race, and it was a nice temperature. Perfect conditions for a good race. Legs were a bit sore from my hard run up Arthurs Seat yesterday, but once I got into the race I felt fine.
I had a little personal battle going on with one of my friends, which I managed to win by passing him on the way up past the train track, and extending my lead coming down off the top of the hill round the last corner. I couldn't quite pick off the person in front of me, but I managed to get under the 20 which I was so wanting but not really expecting. Well chuffed.
22nd out of 56. Winner 16m47s.
